Front-end Development & UX Design

Design, develop, and implement application features as part of an interactive Agile, user focused development process. Lead user feedback sessions, create wireframes, personas, and conduct UX research to improve product usability, accessibility, and experience. Projects include: U.S. Web Design System, Challenge.gov, CitizenScience.gov, Innovation.gov. This is an embedded contract position with at the General Services Administration.

Developed responsively designed websites in WordPress. Performed frequent maintenance and content updates to existing client web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and PHP. Conducted extensive testing of sites to mitigate cross-browser compatibility issues and improve scalability and performance

GSA | Challenge.gov

IT intern

Provided technical support and administration of the challenge.gov WordPress installation. Performed extensive user testing of new platform features with responsibility for the timely documentation, escalation (if appropriate), resolution and closure of issues. Performed large data set migration to include resolving duplicate data and reformatting.

Designed full line of personalized products for e-commerce sales.
